SOLD - Messy Magic Meadow

Harakeke's Viewpoint
A landscape showing a Harakeke plant who fell in love with the Torch Lily. The beauty of their environment makes me wonder if the plants are aware of their own gorgeous setting and know that storm is coming? The human influence is expressed in the straight lines of the land devoid of any windbreak vegetation, a common sight nowadays in agricultural areas. Soft pastels on paper, 37cmW x 29.5cmH in white wooden frame, artwork size: 30cmW x 20cmW.
The Conversation
A landscape connecting the cultivated pot plants with the wild variety outside. All plants show curiosity. The indoor plants look cosy in a more fixed yet stable setting. The wildflowers endure and enjoy influences from the elements but can spread themselves. Both parties may feel a little envy about the other species' circumstances. I like the tension between wild and cultivated environments. Acrylic and oil pastels on canvas, 60x30cm.
SOLD - Transparent World 2
SOLD! Where will these spheres take you? Let your mind roam and create space for rest and discovery. Watercolour and pen on paper, 11x15cm.

Zoning In
A landscape questioning who is zoning in on who? The sun can be fierce and global warming can impact human life, but is it for the worst everywhere? Some (edible) plants may flourish and spread their seeds better with more heat. Urbanisation can pollute a river, but nature is giving humans challenges as well. I love to explore where friction in nature can benefit all elements and beings. Acrylic and oil pastels on canvas, 20cmW x 15cmH.
